HOW TO: Make a Putty Magnifying Glass

How To: Make a Thinking Putty Magnifying Glass

We were on the hunt for more pranks to play with Liquid Glass Thinking Putty when we stumbled upon a new trick that's more "aha!" than "haha." As we stretched, twisted and rolled the putty, excess globs began to form and ended up on papers strewn across our creative studio. One observant employee remarked it almost looks like a magnifying glass.

Eureka, a new trick was discovered! With a little patience you can turn your Liquid Glass Thinking Putty into a melting magnifying glass. Learn how to do it yourself with our easy to follow instructions below or press "play" on our video showing off the trick.

DIY SUPPLIES:

Drawing, Quote or Book page - Anything that can be magnified!

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:

Grab your Liquid Glass Thinking Putty & object to magnify
Roll the clear putty to form a ball. It might get a little cloudy!
Place your putty on a clean surface for a couple of minutes, until it begins to melt. It should turn into clear circular sheet, about a 1/4 inch thick.
Hover your glass-like Thinking Putty over your subject to magnify. Move it side to side and up and down to see the full trick in action!
